Antikythera mechanism

This mechanism that was found on the bottom of the sea on a greek ship was apparantly used as a mechanical computer. It was made way back in 80 bc before this kind of technology was thought possible. It's wheels and gears act as an orrery to predict the positions of celestial object.

A bucket wheel excavator

This is a picture of one of the largest mobile machines on the face of this planet. This machine is a bucket wheel excavator and is used in mining. This can dig a football field sized hole. It has a lot to do with space.
